Can I retake the SHRM exam if I did not pass on my first attempt?

Yes. Candidates who do not pass the SHRM‑CP or SHRM‑SCP exam are permitted to retake the exam during a future testing window, provided they submit a new application and pay the full examination fee.

Is there a waiting period before I can rretake the exam for SHRM?

SHRM does not allow candidates to retake the same exam within the same testing window. Retakes must be scheduled in a future exam window after submitting a new application.

How many times can I retake the exam for SHRM?

There is no limit to the number of times a candidate may apply to retake the SHRM exam, as long as each attempt is scheduled in a separate testing window and all requirements are met.
